I like the chart especially the growth of Other Asia but also the dramatic falloff in the former USSR.

Your chart prompted me to update mine and correct the fact that the Former USSR and China were accidentally depicted on the right hand scale. Because of the new gridlines, it is also much easier to find one's bearings now I hope.

As you probably can tell, I really like the longer term broad perspective type charts, even at the expense of readability. I find so far (excluding the wild response on my site to my M3) that I get by far more reactions from them. I really enjoy blowing the false data crud that is so rampant out of the water.

I really should get some training on chart creation and design, especially now that I have most of the charts I wanted when I first started the site. The raw data is there and all fine and well, but frequently your design and approach makes yours communicate better than mine I think.

It is open season for chart competition now.<g>

nowandfutures.com and
nowandfutures.com too! <g>

I think I win on absolute quantity (over 900 at last count, and 1600 when including others work)... and likely on *charting compulsion* too. <g>

There's no contest (at least so far <g>) on your ability to find the raw data.
