The next President and Congress needs to have solutions for the following lip service issues that have plagued the U.S since 1980. A Total revamping of the way things work in Washington and America. This would include a new Tax system, term limits, and and a new definition on security of the nations borders. These three items have been paid lip service by every administration since I worked for Jimmy Carter. If we do not reorganize the Tax system in America, we may see a revolt the likes of 1776. MY SUGGESTIONS I am all for a Value added Flat rate tax of 17 to 19 % for every dollar made. You make a dollar.... 17 to 19 Cents goes to the Government to take care of operations. No more, no less, and no deductions. Limit the Terms of all people elected to any officein the U.S. to 1 single term, This would keep corruption to a minimum and allow new idea's every election. It would also allow the people's problems to be adressed and cut waste. {This is what the founding fathers wanted and why they chose these terms for the constitution} Read the federalist papers. The Borders must be protected to protect the country's liberty personality and sovereinty. If all counries had the same customs and beliefs with out differences, individual liberty's would be non existant. Security at the borders is essential to our liberty and growth as a country.
