Netanyahu aims to bring Ahmadinejad to trial

Jerusalem: Israel's opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday he hoped to bring Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to trial for incitement to genocide.

Ahmadinejad has stirred global outcry by denying the existence of the Holocaust, in which some six million Jews were killed and calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map".

"We are working to bring Ahmadinejad to stand trial as a war criminal for his call for genocide," Netanyahu said at a conference in Israel.

The former Israeli prime minister said that he and other Israeli diplomats will lobby with international lawmakers and that he planned to visit Britain this week to do just that.

"I want to call on the world, the world that did not stop the Holocaust last time, to stop any attempt at a future Holocaust this time," he said.

The UN Security Council passed sanctions against Iran for failing to suspend its nuclear programme. Iran denies the charge.

Netanyahu said he was also pressing for Western companies to impose "voluntary sanctions" on Tehran.

"There is no need to wait for the United Nations until it brings to the Security Council sanctions with teeth - if they will bring them at all," he said.

Netanyahu said

"The world, which did not stop the Holocaust, must try to stop the genocide being planned by Iran," Netanyahu said, pointing a finger at US pension funds investing with companies trading with Iran.

Speaking Sunday at the prestigious Herzliya Conference, Netanyahu said,
"I want to call upon the world, which did not stop the Holocaust, to try and stop the one that Iran is planning: Stop investments in Iran - in order to stop a genocide...

Sorry, I don't agree! Seems to me your "Bibi" is speaking like a political opportunist at this time and most probably he is planning to become the prime minister again!

By the way, with the way things were when Hitler's armies were battling so successfully, it was next to impossible to have prevented the Holocaust. Bibi seems to conveniently forget that fact. And irony of ironies, despite the best efforts of some Jews to save their brethren from the death camps by bribery, the Holocaust happened because the Zionists (Jews) who could have ransomed them off refused steadfastly to do so for the sake of strengthening their political agenda --- the creation of Israel. Those montrous Zionists argued that Jewish blood had to be spilt in order to strengthen the case for the creation of Israel. I am not making this up. This very fact has been documented by some groups of Hassidic Jews of which the Naturei Katar is one of them.

Whenever one buys real estate, one always seeks the best location. It seems that location, location and location is the overriding consideration. It would appear from all the problems Israel have been making and experiencing, the creators of Israel had chosen a poor location?????? Wouldn't it help matters if Israel is relocated elsewhere (as Ahmadinejad had suggested), say, to Slavic Europe or to some desert-like place like Arizona and parts of California???? And why not, especially when the Jews are noted for their ability to make deserts bloom. Surely, the US which cares so much for Israel should be agreeable and cooperative in this regard. If not, why not?????
