The lies and deception are simply called politics and Bush has made Clinton look like a piker in that area. I know the balanced budget was blue smoke and mirrors, but David Copperfield couldn't make Bush look like he's even close, without Iraq spending, which is not counted in the deficit. The Clinton years featured the only war we've ever won without one combat death. In an area where there could never be peace. Unlike the Libertarians, I think we need Big Govt. for the important things: basic education, health care, defense, etc. Capitalism and Laissez-Faire simply cannot work in these areas and our sad health insurance fiasco has proven it. However, like Gov. Huckabee, I think health is more important than health care and nobody talks about it.
