I know.

I just thought you might want to know that his actual formal education was in his own country. But if you want to continue to claim he was educated in Europe, that's your lookout. This was just one factoid I happened to remember. Not interested in a discussion.

Ho lived in Crouch End in Hornsey, north London, at various points between 1913 and 1919 where it is claimed he trained as a pastry chef under the legendary French master, Escoffier, at the Carlton Hotel in the Haymarket, Westminster, although there is no contemporary evidence to support this.

I always believed that it was the French pastry training that made him a communist. All the sugar and fats affected his thinking processes. I'm 200% behind you on this one.
