And that's why all flights were cancelled once all the planes in the air landed............

Now they were not. Many flights were cancelled but certainly not all of them.

But that's why Deutsche Bahn closed down operations once all of their trains had landed!
Because as you see it only takes a couple of trees on the rails to ruin the day - or the night for them.
No trees growing that high in the skys though!
