Obama was not a Senator at the time the Iraq war vote was taken. There were plenty of senators that expressed grave reservations, yet in the end voted to give Bush carte blanche. Some of them claim that they were promised Bush would do everything to avoid war. It's not at all clear that Obama would have voted against.

Not true. I can think of very few of the aspirants for president who have not at a least said that their vote was a mistake. Hillary can't even admit that she would not have voted for the Iraq war if she knew then what she does now. That's as bad as - or rather the same as - Bush being unable to admit he has done anything wrong. You are giving Hillary a pass on this - I may be wrong, but I think most voters won't!
