Kerry or Gore could beat any GOP candidate in 2008.

I cannot say that for any other democratic candidate unless Vilsack, Biden or Clark get enormous surprise support from the democratic primary voters.

Obama would lose to McCain or Romney. It all comes down to race, his Muslim name and upbringing and his very liberal politics. Slam-dunk for the GOP. Plus they could run Colin Powell as VP and nullify part of the minority advantage.

Hillary would be %50-50 and not a risk worth taking.

btw, Minority and liberal voters so far do not swing any states. Virtually 100% of the states are decided by white moderates. However minorities can swing primary state votes on the democratic side, especially in the South and urban blue states. So beware the primary polls.
