Actually, we want to nominate the candidate the GOP has trouble smearing. Obama is the easiest to smear in modern history. Hillary runs a close second. Though the GOP will bash both just to make sure, they would actually be quite pleased to run against either of them, especially Obama. doesn't matter how much charisma he has. Harold Ford has great charisma too.

Let me explain it to you. I don't think you will understand but I am going to try. Let me start by pointing out that the People of this country form its collective unconscious; its soul if you will. When Bush first wanted to go to war in Iraq, the People said "no" and that's because the soul is like your gut. And the 'gut' of the People knew that invading Iraq was wrong. But then They became confused when Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld starting talking fear. Fear will always confuse the soul or the gut. And the People became very confused.

But while Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld were talking fear, they also were talking that the war would not be too bad.....6 days, 6 weeks, no more than 6 months. So the People were confused but they figured what's the worst that could happen: 6 days, 6 weeks, no more than 6 months. That's not too bad. Some of the People, though, knew better; and they knew this war was very bad and would go on for a long time and was not winnable. People like Hillary Clinton and John Kerry knew. Did they say "no" to Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld? Did they help to unconfuse the rest of the People? No. You see they were afraid too. Not of Islam and terrorists, they were afraid if they said "no" to Bush, then they couldn't be president down the road. They were afraid the GOP would call them weak liberals/unpatriotic liberals.....that they could not be president.

But Obama did say "no" to Bush........truth spoke to power and said "no":

And he kept saying "no" even when it was dangerous politically to say "no". And that's because Obama cares more for his soul than his political career. That's because Obama's soul is intertwined with that of the soul of the People. That's why he knows instinctively what needs to be said. Its why they call him a great Orator.

Kerry and H. Clinton are tired people who want to be president in the worst way. Hillary so much so that she acts like a man. Kerry so much so that he would sell his soul. They don't deserve it.

Obama is the right person to be president. He wants it but not at the cost of something important. That's the kind of person who should be in the White House. Someone who has his priorities straight and will keep the country's priorities straight. Someone who can speak truth to power and not be afraid. And that's why his popularity is growing so quickly; why Kerry and Hillary feel so threatened. Its cool to like Obama because he's black and different. But Kerry and Hillary are counting on that coolness to wear thin and end. And it will. His popularity will wane......temporarily........and then come back stronger than ever. And that's because he's the real deal!
