I've heard that Costa Rica is beautiful. And thanks for the trip overview...Black sand, eh? Did the black sand 'stain' you or is it like regular sand? I'll bet that is pretty! Were the monkeys all friendly> They are such cute little critters, but don't know if their attitude is as cute as their faces.... Did you run into any rough hombres? That is what else I've heard about that area...drug runners.... It would be lovely to know there really was a place the bad guys hadn't tried to claim as their own, and that was indeed just "wild and free"....
