What was the chief export of those same territories whenthey were ruled by Egypt and Jordon?> They weren't ruled by Egypt or Jordan were they? England yes, the Ottomans yes, but Israel gave back the land the conquered that was Egypts, and I think they gave Jordan back theirs too. What they have is land that might have made up Palestine, if the Palestinians weren't such losers, Some that belonged to Syria and some that either belonged to Syria or Lebanon depending on who you listen to and whether Syria conquers Lebanon this month.
