Bush is not black. Bush is a president's son. Bush has nothing in common with Obama whatsoever. Also the GOP usually does not support rebels or anti-establishment candidates. Only Dems do, at least at first, but they rarely if ever nominate them.

America will not elect a black president. Not yet anyway. I think most blacks would admit that, at least privately. It's not racist to say. it's just the way it it. And nobody can transcend race in this country. The history of this nation has been about race. The cultgural divide in this country is mostly about race. It goes back to the Civil War.

Give it time. Obama is a young man, just getting started really. In 2016 he'd be ready. Or support him for VP. But don't hand the GOP the WH in 2008. We just can't do that.
