had to go back and see what I wrote...but yes, they do follow the logical frequency. However this is what I wrote:
, Ubiquiti radios (SR2, SR5, SR9, SR4)

SR2 is 2.4GHz, SR5 is 5.8, SR9 is 900Mhz, SR4 is 4.9GHz. Ubiquiti radios are based on the Atheros chipset.....pretty decent quality radios. Their website is www.ubnt.com

the link that you posted is to a two year old article about our product. So yes, it does follow the two-radio backhaul design. Our standard configuration is two 5.8GHz radios for the backhaul and one 2.4GHz for the client service. However, we have two, three and four radio configurations. The only requirement of radio combinations is that the two backhaul radios have to be the same frequency.
