I am sure you find this all very amusing but your belittlingly response to the issue suggests an intelligence much less than you claim.

There is enough evidence now that the climate has altered in the last 50-100 years; that ice packs in several locations are growing smaller and the air is warmer. We also know that CO2 levels have increased in the atmosphere.

Many scientists believe there is a correlation between the increasing atmospheric CO2 and the warming of the atmosphere but no one can be absolutely certain. We also know that should the warming continue the global climate may undergo even more significant changes, and that the world's coastlines where a large percentage of the human population lives may become inundated.

No one can say for certain that it will happen but increasingly the odds are favoring it and that suggests that some kind of action needs to be taken to try and mitigage the process. It certainly has become a serious topic that is under considerable discussion. So why would an intelligent person joke about it and belittle the theory behind GW?
