Here some interesting news for our GW supporters: When I was living in Scandinavia, most recently in Denmark, boats always had to be taken up for winter to protect them from the ice. When I visited during winter a couple of years ago, while visiting a yacht harbor close to Copenhagen, it suddenly occurred to me, that all yachts are now left in the water during winter! No ice, no reason to take them up. Now glass fiber vs old days wood may make a big difference as well. But no ice, no hazard. Taro
