I am 59, and will be 60 in October. I have however been learning about gardening and self sufficiency for some time. Because I live on a small lot, I expect that I can grow only enough food for a half dozen people. However since my dad was and is an organic Gardener for the last thirty five years, i have excellent help learning how to plant and grow veggies etc. I am thinking of building a small kennel on one side of my property, nothing too lavish, but I think Big guard dogs will be a handy sideline.
