And yet it still doesn't have a lot of homeless. Its also important to note that the unemployed in Germany stay on the roll for two years whereas in the US, they stay on the roll only 6 months. For that reason, the US unemployment rate is understated compared to Germany's.

And Germany does a lot better than many relatively statist countries, it isn't typical or average from that group. I could provide a list of dozens of countries much worse off than Germany or the US, where intrusive government has reduced wealth creation. A good example is Mexico. State owned oil industry, heavy regulation and political favoritism in other sectors, its no wonder why a tenth of Mexicans live in the US.

That isn't even reasonable. Mexico is so corrupt in can't get out of its own way. I am talking apples to apples........US vs Germany and not the US vs third world.
