Where's the KKK when you guys need them? You know, I am all for more border security, but the irony is it's the corporate interests on the right (Bush's pals) who most support illegal immigration. Because every one of those "wetbacks" is money in the bank for them. In fact Bush himself said in 1995 "If they can make it over the Rio Grande, we'll take them". In terms of border security, Bill Richardson ought to be your leader. That would give you credibility. Otherwise people look at Tancredo and Malkin and can plainly see they are racists, and that hurts your cause. Yes indeed, immigrants like Malkin and Tancredo are racist toward new immigrant groups. One of the oldest stories in America. At one point the Irish were treated the same way.
