Unpaid for promises should not be kept....

I disagree prescription drugs were ever "promised". It was a concept which both sides believed had some merit based on the increasing shift in medical care to pharma solutions. But there was no promise to create a huge, new UNFUNDED benefit.

Where are the fiscal conservatives?

Exactly, but he gets no respect even for that. clinton talked about it for 8 years and did nothing. I have talked to many seniors that have had thousands of dollars of meds paid and they are grateful. Couple that with the tax cuts and dragging us out of clinton recession, I thank the President.
