Why..??...OK if you're trading Euros...but hat's just one of the currencies included in the US$ Index...based on trade shares...so Can$, MexPeso weigh heavily...likewise Yen, Pound S...etc..

Every currency in the basket....the narrow index basket...was up against the Dollar in yesterday's March Futures Market except The Peso and the Yen. The Yen was relatively Flat.

AD closed at 7913 up 42
BP 19821 up 63
CD 8487 up 14
JY 8286 down 3
MP 90650 down 300
SF 8096 up 49
EU 13056 up 69

Dollar Futures closed at 8448 down 36

Cash Charts show similar moves in the foreign currencies.

This morning is showing a rebound to 8460 at the moment. Feb Gold hit old Resistance close to the 650 level. XAU overextended yesterday & should pull back today.
