Crickets?
it's the middle of the night
aren't there supposed to be crickets now?

If Dan Sutton groped someone he should resign, but I would think there should be proof, right? Why on Earth would two men be sharing a bed? That's just weird. Who does that? And a failed business deal in the middle of it? I have to say, that compared to the email record on that other guy, this one looks a little fishy.

They should have mentioned the Senator is a dem, but the story is really weird. I'll be interested to see how this unravels.

Here's another thing they don't make clear- he's a member of the state senate.:

minnesota.publicradio.org

and public radio DOES say he's a dem

What's even worse is that Foxnews has gone liberal on you....

They don't mention he's a Democrat either.

foxnews.com

Though I think it has something to do with all of them are using the AP feed. But if you want to go along with Foxnews has a liberal bias, I'm ok with that.

Don't get too hopeful about the US Senate changing majorities because of Sutton, the article says he's a state Senator, i.e., the State Legislature.

Also, I've noticed in past stories on the topic of sex, there seems to be a tradition of not mentioning party affiliation when it comes State level politicians. I've always found that odd, but it seems to be the case more often than not.

NYT & WP stories about a scandal which don't mention party affiliation - nice example of a double standard.
