Exactly my point, the primaries are a year away, and the media and pollsters are hoisting Hillary (and Obama) up on their shoulders and saying "Look at these frontrunners!". They rarely even mention the men who are more likely to be our nominee.

IMHO it's likely neither Hillary nor Obama will get very far in those primaries. I think Edwards will do better than either of them. But then, is Edwards really the best commander in chief we can put up there? Of course not. There are at least two very experienced gentlemen of depth and graviast who actually deserve to be president, having been cheated out of it, and you know who they are.

Next events will be Kerry declaring and the Gore watch to see if he signals any intentions around the OScar hoopla. Either one of those guys could beat Hillary, Edwards or Obama, though all three of those will have their cheerleaders, and the lefty base always backs the alternative candidate (Obama?) at least until reality sets in.
