Unfortunately for your heros - and for Gore and his believers - however, here the recent data from the ice cores clearly show, that the CO2 changes trail the temperature charts and not vice versa. If CO2 is the culprit, as your camp of doomsayers rather hoped, then it should be the other way around.

Whoa! That's the way it worked when the planet was lightly populated and human civilization was mostly agrarian or hunters. That all changed in the last two hundred years with the population explosion and industrialization. Now they think CO2 is leading the change instead of following it.


In any schoolbook experiment it would be the other way around.
But our climate seems to be a little bit more complicated than that.


Exactly, so why risk doing nothing?
