The rise in delinquencies is unusual because it comes at a time when the economy is relatively strong.

[Maybe the economy is not as strong as some of the numbers being reported. (Well ... DUH !!!) Jon.]


Hmmm.. I wonder if the same statement can be made when we see an increase in margin calls in brokerage accounts?

"Oh.. you borrowed money from us to buy that overvalued stock during a speculative parabolic blowoff bubble market?

Here's your margin call..

Blame it on the economy"..

Of course, the article is referring to real estate, and we ALL KNOW FROM PAST HISTORY that real estate never loses value for very long..

Just ask the Japanese..
