Regarding your claim that "NY Times article doesn't mention the party affiliation" & "Neither does WashPost."....

I clicked on the NYT link you posted. Here it clearly reports the Party affiliation:

...Sutton, a Democrat from Flandreau, could be censured, disciplined or expelled when the full Senate votes. The vote is expected Jan. 31.

(You appear to be correct about the WaPo, however. I can find no mention of anyone's political affiliation, not even the Governor's, within the article....)

FYI --- any politician (even a lowly state senator like here) who is STUPID ENOUGH to say, Michael Jackson-like, that he "...saw nothing wrong with sharing a motel bed with <a teenage page>" is entirely TOO DUMB to breathe.

No doubt, he will be hustled out of office shortly....

Now... about that READING COMPREHENSION problem of yours.... Have you tried 'Hooked on Phonics' yet? :-)
