Distribution: It's a classic technical term. Think of a parabola, pointing up or down.

For the one that points down, the news is all bad at the bottom, people are selling for any old price "and yet" the price stops dropping. This is "accumulation". Someone is absorbing all the cheap stock for an eventual move up.

At the top, the news is all good "and yet" all buys are met by sells. Someone is "distributing" the stock in anticipation of the party being over.

You never know until afterwards whether it's being distributed or accumulated except ARU has made no progress in the face of improving gold prices.

ARU is under accumulation and its shares are being held down for someone. Pay no attention. There is no reason on earth for this to be under distribution. There is no political risk I can see and maybe some environmental issues down the road but that isn't our problem, its the problem of Newmont's when they buy it out
