Wayne, I took all of my money out of Neteller as soon as I heard of the arrests. I don't see how the paper checks are going to continue. The ones from the sites I use employ very prominent US banks, where the pressure will be intense.

I thought horseracing was exempt from the harassment?

It is beginning to look like a foreign bank account may be the only solution, preferably one that doesn't have a big US presence.

The Poker Players Alliance has enough sponsors to introduce a bill exempting poker from the UIGEA. It should be introduced in the next couple of months. I sure hope it passes. I'd hate to have to deal through the Mafia to get my money. At least they are more honest than Citibank or Gyp'em Morgan. <VBG>

Jamie Gold had the shortest endorsement career of any WSOP Final Event winner, even though he won more money in one event than any poker player in history. pokernews.com It makes sense to me. If you are not going to advertise on tv, why have a high priced spokesman.
