Amazing story, that. What made me smile is the fact that I just got a new cell phone upgrade for myself... and haven't even activated the "text messaging" feature. Have no plans to. Does that point out the vast age difference between my tired old fanny and your young daughter? I'd say so. ggg My phone has features I don't even understand, let alone plan to use. I did figure out how to use the camera. So far, I've taken 6 pictures... and erased them all.

Yes, I know what you mean. Kids are so thoughtless. Fortunately, mine was in college when texting became popular and she had to pay her bill out of her allowance.

Just to make you feel a little better: I lent my extra phone to a friends mother about a year ago. She had just broke up with her boyfriend and he took hers, which was on his plan. I figured she works weekdays, and the phone has free nights and weekends, so what the hell - I'll help her out - how many minutes could she possibly use up? FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FOURTEEN MINUTES IN ONE MONTH!!!!! I took the phone away and never had a nice thing to say to her since.
