Since I retired, I don't use my cell phone enough to justify it. But, I have my home phone forward to it every time I turn it on, so that's a feature I really like. Otherwise, I prolly wouldn't even bother to have one. Not true, really, but I buy 1000 anytime minutes every month and barely use 200. I looked into a different plan with fewer minutes, but I've been grandfathered into the plan I'm in and any change would cost more money. I get free long distance with it, also, so that's another reason to keep it. Kids out of state, brother out of state, so that feature gets quite a bit of use.

Kids use the text message feature a lot, partially so they can talk to their friends while in school.

Which raises the question,

Why do they need to talk to their friends while they're in school?

Shouldn't they be focusing on their classes?
