what is reconstituted hebrew, since the language has all the same letters as the hebrew spoken 6,000 years ago,

and, meanwhile, the war on terror will soon again be turning north from jerusalem:

Violence spills into streets after 4 students killed, 25 injured in Beirut University fracas

January 25, 2007, 5:51 PM (GMT+02:00)

The city is wreathed in smoke after pro-government supporters clashed on the campus with adherents of the pro-Syrian Shiite Amal group, part of the Hizballah-led coalition which launched street disturbances Tuesday, Jan. 23, to topple the Siniora government. Lebanese troops fired in the air to quell the increasingly sectarian violence.

In Paris, prime minister Fouad Siniora is attending an conference of international donors gathered to help save his government.

The Bush administration will ask Congress for $770 million to help Lebanon recover from last summer’s war, more than tripling its aid, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Thursday, Jan. 25, at the conference.

Last year, the US pledged $230 m in aid for Lebanon. Until then, the annual sum earmarked was approximately $40m.

Rice would not speculate about what the US would do if Hizballah, a terrorist organization, took control of the Lebanese government.
