It is unfortunate that we are not able to realistic ask who would be a good running mate for Webb. I would bet there are some people wondering why they can't ask that question though. I would bet there are a few people feeling him out and asking 'why not'?

I've been thinking of Clinton and Obama as the best Dem slate in 08, in that order. Now I've got to factor in Webb.

I expect the experience factor to be a problem for Obama at some point, as it would be for Webb. Makes both excellent vp candidates.
