He may MOUTH those WORDS --- (like *most* professional American politicians do!) --- it's *expedient* for politicians to do so.

Never-the-less, he's taken no substantive action to foil it's continued, steady development... and he appears to not back any effective strategies to reign-in government's continued debilitating drain.

"... He may not place the same sense of importance on a Spending Limit Constitutional Amendment as you and I do."

No kidding!

PS --- I'm not sure about your use of the 'bull & china shop' metaphor... but I suppose the American economy and nation can be thought of as the 'china shop'... and it can be argued that your standard-issue Big Brother / Big Government enabling politicians are the 'bulls'....
