I do not know why libs are typically smarter than cons and why smart folks gravitate to welfare state and pacifist ideology in a word such as the one we have Interesting commentary....I'll throw my two cents in by generalizing what I suspect: Raw IQ the same on both sides. I suspect there's a different kind of emotional intelligence but don't know how to explain what I mean. I just know it when I see it among my friends, almost all of whom are very right-wing..lol!! It might boil down to something as simple as different degrees of empathy when we're all young and reading alot and forming ideas.
