You're very welcome. As far as my vote, I say let him have it as long as he wants to take care of it, but keep it trimmed in a dignified manner and really, really keep it clean. IOW, to each his own if he wants one. My grandfather had a thick handle bar mustache and when he stayed with us I would watch him saucer his coffee with cream in it and try to keep it from getting on his mustache. I thought at the time what a bother it must be to have to do that.
