I promise you.....you won't see a lot of that opportunity about which you and Ayn fantasize. a) I'm not a very big fan of Ayn Rand. But she does say a lot of things that ring true. Ayn Rand's books are as surreal as American soap operas. In Amer. soap operas everyone is good looking; in Ayn Rand's books, everyone is brilliant and successful. The reality is the world is more like Ugly Betty but even that has been sugarized by Hollywood.....ie everyone including her sister is goodlooking except for Betty and her boyfriend. The truth is if you believe in God we are not all down here to be brilliant, goodlooking and successful. b) I guarantee you that every single Hispanic person living here has decided that the freedoms and opportunities here in America are much greater than that of where they came from. If that were true, they would not be sending their money back to Mexico et al with the hope of eventually setting up a business there. c) Those who promote socialism as a way to care for those less fortunate really do not want to take any personal responsibility for helping out their neighbor in need. Do you really want to depend on the largesse of your condo neighbors should you lose your job? Instead, they want government to take responsibility for it, funded by taxes on those they can point to on TV and say, "They're too rich!" No personal sacrifice on their part. That's how liberals can tell themselves that they care and conservatives don't. Please stop reading the tracts they send you from RNC headquarters......they are not anywhere near the truth.
