The fact that Nokia has this option and other don't doesn't seem very FRANDLY. I can understand TI's position but wonder why others farther back in the pack aren't complaining. I guess they've all got their own UNFRANDLY pieces and see being quiet as their best course of action.

The best one can say about all this is that it shouldn't be surprising to anyone for matters to progress just as you (and Paul) have noted and, in the end, all that is going to happen is Nokia's money (less legal, of course) is going to be bankrolled until the issue is forced. Given the terms of the extension one would have to wonder ...

What were they thinking? Oh well, was Altman a good Little Leaguer?
