Look at what Cheney is saying today -- what he is saying is so patently absurd that one cannot wonder whether he would qualify in a court of law as 'accountable for his own actions'. This is the man behind the curtain. Bush is the president of the United States. If he is duped into lying it makes it no better in my opinion than if he lies with full knowledge of what he is doing. In my view, they should both be held accountable. None of this would matter except for the historians and possibly criminal justice investigations except for one thing -- we are now suffering through the next round of tragic mistakes under Bush -- and the man behind the curtain is still there -- still promoting the same deceptions. Still serving up the coolaid. only this time he is more angry because nobody wants to drink it anymore.
