We never get anywhere on this topic. I don't know why you cannibis are so afraid of real scientific studies. It's really the only thing that will advance the issue for you

In all fairness, it is almost impossible to get the FDA to grant permission for real studies on schedule A drugs. It is very politically unpopular.

So then the sixteen year study conducted by the DEA wasn't "real scientific?"

Government representitives tend to ignore studies that don't produce the results they expected.

I remembered that I still had to respond to this from you:

"And as you know, the AARP study was ambiguous at best, and probably irrelevant."

This is taken from a resolution passed unanimously by the Michigan Democratic party 2/24/07

quote
WHEREAS, a national CNN/Time magazine poll published November 4, 2002, found that 80% of U. S. adults “think adults should be able to use marijuana legally for medical purposes”; and
WHEREAS, a national Gallup poll released in November, 2005 found that 78% of Americans support “making marijuana legally available for doctors to prescribe in order to reduce pain and suffering”; and
WHEREAS, numerous other national public opinion polls have found substantial support for medical marijuana, including surveys conducted by ABC News, CBS News, the Family Research Council, and the Gallup Organization between 1997 and 2006;
