(CDNX:UNO.V - News) (Other OTC:FNRWF.PK - News) ("First Narrows" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has resumed drilling on the Chester Copper-Polymetallic Feeder Deposit for the purpose of completing a NI 43-101 qualifying mineral resource estimate. The focus of this phase of the program is to continue the delineation of the higher grade copper-polymetallic mineralization of the feeder deposit by extending the drilling to the north, as well as up dip to the east, and down dip to the west. A further +100 diamond drill holes will be required to develop the initial NI 43-101 Inferred and Indicated mineral resource estimation of the eastern, near surface, portion of the deposit. The Company would like to acknowledge that the 2006 phase of the NI 43-101 qualifying mineral resource estimate drilling program was funded in part by MineralFields Group through a private placement. Highlights from the analytical results previously released from the 2006 drilling include: -***- HOLE C-06-022 UTM Collar Coordinates - 5219925N, 710168.75E; dip vertical From To Length Length Cu m m m ft (%) ------------------------------------------------------------- 19.83 44.86 25.03 82.1 3.43 HOLE C-06-020 Collar Coordinates - 5219912.5N, 710175E; UTM Grid, NAD83, dip vertical From To Length Length Cu m m m ft (%) ------------------------------------------------------------- 6.00 39.00 33.00 108.3 2.91 Includes: 16.00 36.30 20.30 66.6 4.37 HOLE C-06-025 Collar Coordinates - 5219925N, 710162.5E; UTM Grid, NAD83, dip vertical From To Length Length Cu m m m ft (%) ------------------------------------------------------------- 22.70 47.30 24.60 80.7 3.96 HOLE C-06-027 Collar Coordinates - 5219950N, 710162.5E; UTM Grid, NAD83, dip vertical From To Length Length Cu Pb Zn Ag m m m ft (%) (%) (%) (g/t) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22.25 27.27 5.02 16.5 0.19 1.75 4.96 14.27 -****- The drilling, analytical and surveying programs are being monitored by consultant Robert Sim, P.Geo. and Bruce Davies. Chester Copper-Polymetallic Feeder Deposit The copper-polymetallic feeder deposit is an east-west trending gently west plunging cigar shaped deposit within an alteration zone approximately 75 meters (246 ft.) or more in thickness and greater than 200 meters (656 ft.) in width. It extends west of the current planned drilling area for more than 1 kilometer ( > 3,280 ft.). At the east end it lies close to surface and at the western extent of the company's drilling it is more than 400 meters (1,320 ft.) below surface. The copper-polymetallic mineralization within the feeder deposit varies from low to high grade. About First Narrows Resources Corp.: First Narrows Resources Corp.
