Cheney was an alcoholic draft-dodger who scammed five deferrments. It's true that many other guys did the same thing, but the difference with Cheney, Bush, Delay, Rove and Limbaugh was that while they were filing for their deferrments and champagne Guard evasions they were supporting the war. That makes them hypocrites as well as cowards. The heroism of Kerry is apparent because while he had misgivings about the war he volunteered for combat in Vietnam and aggressively fought, often charging into enemy fire rather than running away from it. These facts, along with Bush going AWOL from the Guard and lying about it, were why Bush's entire 2004 campaign was based on huge smears and lies, all organized by Rove. "The War President" had to be touted as a courageous hero even though he was a fraud. And the real war hero Kery had to be smeared as a coward and traitor even though he was a double hero.

By the way, why aren't you volunteering for Iraq now? They will take older guys now. They will take almost anyone. Quit being a hypocrite and go throw your life into the abyss in Iraq. Otherwise, shut up.

Cheney never tried to weasel his way out of serving ... Ah! So was he drunk when he later said that he had "other priorities" that were supposedly higher than going to Vietnam? Cheney didn't have the balls to go fight there. The only thing you cowards can do is to badmouth those who actually go there and fight and then come back and oppose you politically. It has happened with Kerry and Murtha and it has happened again with Hackett and others now. Btw, why haven't YOU offered your own butt to be shipped to Iraq?

"I think we will face a strong offensive and will have a difficult and dangerous and bloody spring," U.S. assistant secretary of state for south and central Asia Richard Boucher told the BBC, calling the guerillas virulent and tough. Huh?! What are the US troops in Afghanistan doing for the last 5+ years?? Just protecting puppet Karzai's butt??!! Nothing else?! Why are they allowing the Taliban to get, in the words of the Bush administration official, "emboldened" and "strengthened"?! So, a "difficult and dangerous and bloody spring" ahead in Afghanistan. What better time than now to escalate the disaster in Iraq and meddle with Iran (3 1/2 times bigger than Iraq)? The incompetence of the Dumbyasshole gang is un-fn-believable.
