Last year, we had a mouse infestation in the basement.

One night, a little brown thing ran along the baseboards and then hopped into the vent at the bottom of the glass fireplace in the family room.

I put out a trapline, got about 7 or 8 of the little buggers and that was the end of the family line for them.

In my experience, there is no substitute for the good old fashioned spring trap, baited with a dab of Jimmy Carter's best peanut butter.

Forget those girlie man traps with the sticky substance that they get stuck to. The spring to the neck is more humane in any event.
