OH Good Heavens...

LOL

The last line you are considering moving and my last line removed were different.

Here is what I removed: MAY WE NEVER TAKE OUR MOTHERS FOR GRANTED <wink> (not the dying line)

Perhaps you would enjoy the book:

Love You Forever by Robert Munsch and illustrated by Sheila McGraw

Read the blurb on his site: robertmunsch.com

My daughter and SIL gave it to me in 1992 for Mother's Day

I love it.

It's funny how different people read and react to different things. See, I read it and thought "wow, this is so good...and it says it all". I would love to have received it from one of my children and wouldn't have given that last line a 2nd thought. I ALSO printed it out to put in my mother's birthday card next week. I never even thought of it as "mom's gone" or anything close to it.

It's fact that it applied, does apply & will apply when that time comes...and that time will come. I hope she doesn't take offense by it...

Dunno...but I'll put more thought into what I post from now on because if I've offended 2 of my favorite folks; then there's no telling how many more have the same feelings...and that's not my purpose at all. :)

Sorry. I didn't mean it to be insensitive. I thought it was beautiful in it's entirity...
