Yes, I believe that the fundamentals of a decent and good life are the RIGHTS of all American Citizens. I'm sure many people would disagree with me but I view any other attitude as immoral, unethical, uncivilized and, heck, simply mean. :) For the umpteenth time, I'm saying single-payer, non-profit because it IS critical and it can be done TOMORROW. Get rid of health insurance companies, cover everyone under Medicare FIRST then work on making Medicare more efficient by making people healthier and the health care industry more cost effective. We could do this TOMORROW. That's why. What other suggestion do you have that would fix this TOMORROW? What? You've offered up nada.
