Or consider the fact that with the govt. as the single payer, docs can no longer opt out of system and must accept the payments they are offered or find new line of work...lol!!

Yes, that is the end result of single-payer systems. In which case we get the quality of care that England has. Long waits, poor innovation, and some Bureaucrat decides when you die.
