First two years (in Indonesia) of elementary school were in a private (Catholic) school.

Next two or three (family couldn't afford private any longer) were in a secular public school. (With Muslims, Christians, Confucians, Buddhists, etc.)

(He lived in Indonesia from the age of 6 to 10, I believe.)
