Geode just dug out and offered three excellent articles for you to study. There are facts, numbers, and statistics in them. Open your mind and let the facts lead you to a conclusion. I saw nothing useful in them. Everyone knows we have a problem. Finding useful solutions is what interests me. To point out the problem, then leap to "single-payer, full coverage, non-profit" with no reasoning for why these elements will achieve the desired goals is what I can't take. When the example cites anything about Medicare costs, it is worthless unless one renormalizes for medicare payment rates and the effect that is having on medical access and quality of care.
