I don't think it would be a long strike...two to three weeks...but even stockpiling (should it go longer) does not compliment cash flow.

I am inclined to think they will sort it out before the deadline but as always...WTHK's

The company's offer of settlement did include a monetary package calling for wage increases of one dollar per hour (60 cents in the first year and 20 cents for the second and third year) over the course of a three-year deal, said Grylls.

That offer is unacceptable for a company poised to make between $1 billion and $1.5 billion at Sudbury operations over the course of the next three years, said Grylls.

The union is demanding wage increases in the range of 10 percent (four, three and three) over a three-year contract, "which is standard in the industry right now," said Grylls.
