Welfare people actually get unnecessary surgeries to get at pain drugs. Talk about a screwed up system. Thousands of $ of your tax money so a junkie can get a fix.

With all due respect, you're getting this kind of information from some right-wing talk radio type source. This is simply not credible. If people on welfare are even fortunate enought to get surgery at all, it's certainly not going to be done for some phantom illness. People on welfare can't have elective surgeries. And, I'm sorry, but state medicaid doesn't pay for stomach stapling, either.
