on the issue of investment risk implicit/explicit in any initiative against iran, i suppose it is quite possible that (i) the share market goes up as usual as CBs pump for war, (ii) oil price rises, fueling still more petro-dollar recycling into T-bills, and (iii) hedonistic end-of-world-nothing-matters consumers go on a spree

the end-game debacle, delayed until still some time away, may well and ought to be much worse than 1929, but hey, nothing matters and so what the heck, as the empire is going for broke
