The "Bring Our Troops Home Bill" proposed by Rep. Lynn Woolsey proposes, among other things :

5. Guarantee full health care funding, including mental health, for U.S. veterans of military operations in Iraq and other conflicts.

Now have you regressives done anything like this during your 6 years of "supporting the troops"?! Show me a Bill that was voted by the Republicans and that the Dumbyasshole signed into law that did anything positive for the troops!

All you thugs have done is things like this :

apfn.net

Mark Benjamin’s investigative report on Oct. 20, 2003 for UPI, revealed that many wounded veterans from Iraq had to wait "weeks and months at places such as the Fort Stewart military base in Georgia, for proper medical help." They had been kept in living conditions that are "unacceptable for sick and injured soldiers." One officer characterized conditions for the wounded by saying, "They're being treated like dogs."

Any creep who says "woundfaker" a traitor to every combat vet in this country so far as I'm concerned. As McCain himself says of you people, you're "despicable, dishonorable and dishonest".

The very notion that a Silver Star winning war hero would fake a wound or shoot himself, especially not backed up by a shred of evidence, is just evil, cowardly and sleazy as can be. You're basically pissing on every vet who ever won a Purple Heart or died in combat. You should be ashamed of yourself, you lowlife scum. You don't even deserve to be a citizen of this country talking like that.

Next the question is, why do Bushies smear and slander war heros like this? Well there is only one reason, and it comes directly from Rove, because Bush-Cheney were both draft-dodging cowards, but they need to project an artificial image of war heroism which they never earned. Meanwhile, their foes Kerry and McCain were both bona fide Silver Star winners who went way beyond the call of duty.

Bill, I'm outing you as a traitor to your country, a serial liar, a big phony, an appeaser of the destruction of our military and a coward to boot.

You and people like you have been trying to mislead others into backing incompetent and corrrupt rightwing leaders who have a proven track records of hurting this country, harming our military, stealing our wealth and helping our enemies. Therefore you are an accomplice. And as Bush says, those who aid and abet are just as bad as those who carry out criminal acts.

At the same time, you have a record of posting ridiculous lies about some of our most honest and heroic leaders, whose stances on the major issues of our day have been proven to be correct, helpful, wise and honest. This kind of deliberate lying needs to stop. It's very harmful to our democracy, sets a terrible example for our kids and weakens our country's integrity.

Maybe the term "traitor" is a little harsh, but the affects are the same.

One of Bush's first acts was to slash health care for veterans. At the same time he slashed cancer research, health care for poor babies and environmental protection.

Since those are some of the only budget cuts Bush has ever recommended, what does this tell you about his priorities?

Next, look at the first two things Bush wanted to spend more money on, SDI, which is useless against terrorists and may be entirely useless against any threat because it has never worked. Also, he fought for huge subsidies for big oil, tens of billions of outright gifts to companies like Exxon. Those were among his first spending increases. So again, what does this tell you about the man?

Sounds like an evil-doer to me.
